The meadow of flowers
Gulmarg is a bowl-shaped meadow at 2,650 m that changes costume by season — a carpet of wildflowers and one of the world's highest golf courses in summer, and India's premier ski resort under metres of powder in winter. The two-stage Gondola climbs the Apharwat ridge to nearly 4,000 m, with Nanga Parbat visible on clear days.
Plan my Gulmarg tripRide to Kongdoori and on to Apharwat — among the highest cable cars on earth.
January–March powder with instructors, equipment and ski patrol on tap.
Tee off on a 130-year-old course wrapped in pine forest at 2,650 m.
A gentle ride around the meadow rim with Khilanmarg and valley views.
December–March for snow sports; May–September for flower meadows, golf and the full Gondola experience.
